On the evening of Monday, October 27, Renaissance Petaluma held its inaugural meeting at Della Fattoria in downtown Petaluma. Hundreds of Petaluma citizens came to learn about Renaissance Petaluma and to celebrate the occasion with the organization's Founding Members. They all shared wonderful edible treats served potluck style and sipped wine supplied by some of Petaluma's extraordinary restaurants and wineries and heard about Renaissance Petaluma as well as its first advocacy initiative: the Appellation Petaluma Hotel. The guest speaker for the meeting was renowned chef and Sonoma County resident, Charlie Palmer, describing the Appellation Petaluma Hotel.
